Chocolate Milkshake Chia Seed Pudding | Keto | Low Carb



This past weekend I was looking to add some more fiber to my diet, because the keto diet can be notorious for low fiber.

As I was thinking about what I have in my cabinet, I remembered CHIA SEEDS! These are a great source of fiber in addition to everything else they're amazing for. Like calcium, potassium, magnesium, and tons of other vitamins, protein, and FIBER.. did I mention fiber?

The net carbs on chia seeds are zero because their carbs are all fiber, which makes it the perfect keto snack.

In my previous recipe Creamy Chia Seed Pudding, I found out how tasty adding heavy cream to the pudding really was. It made it so creamy and added a bit of sweetness.

This week, I was thinking of a desert, but have ended up eating it for breakfast. I'm ok with chocolate for breakfast if you are :-).


Recipe:

Serves 1

2 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
2 Tablespoons Heavy Cream
1 Tablespoon Hershey's Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup
1/4-1/2 cup of water, use less if you plan to eat it sooner

Refrigerate for 3 hours or more. The longer it sits, the softer the seeds will be and the more water they will absorb.
